Nicole Griffin

Hello! My name is Mrs. Griffin and I am beyond excited for the opportunity to be a part of the team at Citrus Learning Academy. As a mother of four, I truly do understand how important it is to have caring, trustworthy people helping to guide your children each day. Along with my experience as a parent I have worked in childcare for over four years where I have supported children’s learning, growth, and daily routines in a safe and positive environment. I was also a dive instructor which really helped me to understand different learning abilities by working with a multitude of people varying in all ages and cultures. I graduated from Florida State University in 2012 where I learned hard work, organization, and communication skills that I know are important when working with children and families. With my own children involved in various sports and attending a private school I understand the value of finding a school and programs that help children grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I look forward to getting to know each of your families and supporting your children this year!

Alahna Knapp

My name is Ms. Alahna, and I teach in our Kindergarten/1st grade class here at Citrus Learning Academy. I have been working in the early childhood education field since January of 2020, subbing in Citrus County public schools, as well as leading and assisting in infant, toddler, preschool, and VPK classrooms. I graduated from Crystal River High School in 2019 and earned my Associate’s degree from the College of Central Florida shortly after, where I am currently working towards my Bachelor’s! I’ve always had a passion for working with children and watching them grow; I have a 2-year-old daughter of my own, as well as 4 younger siblings. Outside of the classroom, I love to cook, read, explore museums, go thrifting, and spend time with my family.
