Citrus Learning Academy is a new, Kindergarten through 5th grade private school located in Homosassa, Florida.
Our mission is to inspire young minds with a desire for learning, to live with integrity and to make a difference in the lives of other. Thus our motto… “Where Learning Takes Flight”.
Founded by Gloria Klement, a native of Palm Beach County, she is a graduate of Summit Christian School and Indian River State College. Gloria received a strong foundation of love for children at an early age. At 17 years old while working at Summit Elementary and Preschool, she realized her God-given dream of working with children. Over the years since then, she has obtained much wisdom and experience from the owners and staff of the finest preschools in Palm Beach and St. Lucie County.
Gloria and her family moved to Citrus County in 2006 and realizing the need for quality childcare, she established Nature Coast Preschool in 2007. After much growth and success, she is proud to announce the expansion and addition of a new Kindergarten – 5th grade private school, Citrus Learning Academy.
With over 45 years of child care and education under her belt, Gloria’s goal is to serve the community and make a difference in the lives of children in Citrus and surrounding counties.
